sailing ship Alexander wrecked on the rocks at Hatters Beach, West Coast road, to the south of Brighton, the vessel was a three-masted Danish barque, a steel ship of 610 tons, making her maiden voyage and was wrecked totally on 18th January 1902  (print by courtesy of Cobb ROBERTSON)  (see also 0127)
